What I collect

When you use the contact form or apply for the starter slot, I collect your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message fields. This site doesn't collect payment details. Invoicing happens separately, directly between us.

Why

I use this information only to reply to your enquiry or application, and to run the project if we go ahead. I don't sell it, rent it, or use it to send you marketing you haven't asked for.

Where it's stored

Enquiries arrive by email and are stored in my email account. I don't currently use a separate customer database, CRM, or marketing tool.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry and project emails for as long as they're relevant to an ongoing or past project, then delete them. If you ask me to delete your information sooner, I will, unless I'm legally required to keep certain records, for example for tax purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't currently use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated to say so before it happens.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email tee@websitesbyscarlet.co.zw and I'll respond within a reasonable time.

Applicable law

This site is based in Zimbabwe and handles personal data in line with the Cyber and Data Protection Act (2021), enforced by POTRAZ. If you're contacting me from the EU or UK, GDPR may give you additional rights over your data. The same request process above applies regardless of where you're writing from.
