A tax consultancy that wanted a real blog, run by the owner, not by a developer.

The brief

The client wanted to showcase her tax consultancy business. A blog was important to her, along with clear calls to action and contact details. She's non-technical but wanted to publish updates and blog articles herself, without needing me for every change.

What I did

  • Built it on cPanel's SiteJet CMS specifically so she could edit pages and publish blog posts herself
  • Customised the CSS for the design rather than using it off the shelf
  • Set up the blog/news section, services, about and contact pages
  • Sent a questionnaire so the client could supply her own copy and images, then edited it for the page
