A tax consultancy that wanted to showcase its services and keep customers informed about local tax updates and laws. Run by the owner, not a developer.
The brief
The client wanted to showcase their tax consultancy and its services, with clear calls to action and contact details. They also wanted a real blog, to make customers aware of local tax updates and laws and to educate them. The client is non-technical and needed to publish articles and change small things like text and contact details, without needing me for every change.
What I did
- Built it on cPanel's SiteJet CMS so the owner could edit pages, contact details and text, and publish blog posts, themselves
- Customised the CSS for the design rather than using it off the shelf
- Set up the services, about and contact pages, plus a blog/news section for tax updates and guidance
- Sent a questionnaire so the client could supply their own copy and images, then edited it for the page
- Set up the default on-site SEO I include with every build: page titles and meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text and a sitemap
